
Book Week 2025!
Join us May 15-21 to celebrate publications of all kinds at the Kaplan Humanities Institute's Book Week 2025! We will honor new books published by Northwestern faculty, engage with translation and translated works, and focus on the process of pitching and prepping manuscripts.
All events take place in Kresge #2-351, the Kaplan Institute Seminar Room.

Come celebrate the books, edited volumes, and translations that Northwestern humanities faculty have published in the last couple of years! We'll gather with colleagues and friends to ooh and aah the books on display and lift a glass to the accomplishments of scholars from a range of disciplines!

For our annual Hot Off the Press series, we will host the Northwestern University Press acquisitions team, including Faith Wilson Stein, Marisa Siegel, and Megan Stielstra. The editors will discuss the academic publishing process and offer advice on prepping and pitching manuscripts and book proposals. All faculty, postdocs, and graduate students are invited to attend, though RSVPs are requested.
