2020-2021 Faculty Fellows Announced

Call for applications: Northwestern University's Chicago Humanities Initiative, an 8-week practicum for PhD students interested in exploring how their graduate training can serve a broader public. Combines credit-bearing seminar with personalized placement at an arts, culture, or community organization. Runs June 29-August 21, 2020. Scott Sowerby receives NEH fellowship

Congratulations to Scott Sowerby, Associate Professor in History, for receiving a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities! The grant will support Sowerby's book project, The Violent Origins of Religious Toleration in Early Modern Europe, 1520-1800. The NEH awarded $30.9 million for 188 humanities projects nationwide.
